Bags on bars help.

I have a set of Pete&Jakes 4 link bars that I want to mount bags on. What type of reinforcement do I need to add to make these work? Any info or better pictures would be great. Thanks in advance.

I realize I need gussets. Just looking for some Ideas or pictures from people who have added gussets to round 4 link bars.

a lot of the pics you are going to see are the ones you can get from suicidedoors.com. i would imagine.

I recently did a piece in MiniTruckin' about material strengths and this is what I ran for bracing a bending load. The bushings are probably not going to be up to the task (at least not for very long) but you can keep the bar from bending.

Why won't the bushings be up to the task?

What bushing would you recommend?

the pete and jakes i have is chro-moly,and i run the bags on them. havent bent so far,goin on 7 months

I'm sure that they would put up with a decent amount of abuse, but I have to assume that they will wear out sooner rather than later.
