86 toyota front width mesurements

at half travel would the front be as wide as the rear or wider?

Without going out and measuring one up, I don't know.

i believe its either the same, or a LITTLE more narrow. seems like my fronts are in farther than my rear, but that could be sheet metal difference. its not a big difference at all either way.

About 2" narrower if I remember correctly.

The front on a 86 Toyota is around 56 1/2 mounting surface to mounting surface, just clipped one for my Ranger and I gave it a quick measure to make sure it was close to a stock Ranger rearend.
