memphis mcd-1000 amp

is this amp any good, how to get full watts from this amp its rated 1100 watts at 14.4 volts at 1ohm

Thats a good amp...I have the PR 1000...I have it running at 1ohm and it holds its own...

do you have 1 sub or 2

if you run the sub in a 1 ohm load and if the box is built to spec then it should hit real hard.

is this the same or similar to the old Memphis 1000d? If so I had one for a long time, had it on 3 kicker 15s, 4 pioneer 15s, and 4 12s (none super name brand), but they all sounded GREAT
