refurbed head unit?

Anyone got a factory conditioned head unit off ebay? I got a new clarion vxr765vd dvd head unit for my daily and i love the shit out of it. It's the best $600 i've ever spent, since i drive around 1500-2000 miles a week. I want to get the same thing for my burban, but i can get a factory refurbed unit for about $425 shipped. Anyone used these? Good or would it be better to pop the cash for a new one?

MY BUDDY HAS A REFURBED KICKER AMP. HE GOT IT ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO AND HAS NEVER HAD A LICK OF TROUBLE OUT OF IT.IT'S NOT A HEAD UNIT BUT IT IS REFURBED OFF OF EBAY

Factory refurbished(B stock) units IMO are just as good as a new one. they have to pass all the same tests as a new one before they leave the the factory again

ok, cool. thanks for the help, guys. I was thinking the same thing, but when you're talking about the difference between $325 and $590, it's a lot easier to come up w/the smaller amount of cash. I figured it would be ok, i just wanted some feedback. Thanks again, guys.
