battery options

I realized that i am needing a new battery. When my bass hits my lights dim. Now i was wondering, with so many different types of batterys what is the most preffered battery?i know that everyone like optimas but i have seen too many of them killed. Anyone running a stinger battery? how are they? price?thanks in advance

id run a optima and a cap of some sort... we run a optima with 2 carquest batteries i n the trunk on the thunderbird with 6 12's and it dont dim at all...

my next is gunna be a yellow top optima, but ive heard the Kinetic batterys are pretty good. i thing thats what they're called anyway!

kinetik or stinger, local car audio shop says that the 2400 series (both stinger and kinetik) are equal to about 3-6 optimas!

p.s. i run an optima though, they are about $100 cheaper than the kinetik or stinger, but where do u draw the line???

a store on ebay (hi-fi sound connection car audio) sells stinger, there are also many more that sell both

I got a kinetik this summer and it made so much of a differance you would not even know.

I got a car stereo battery/dry cell from a local stereo shop this past summer to help run my bag ass compressor on my Eclipse. Its not a Stinger, but its got the same output & even came with a metal box for it to be mounted in. I used it for less than a month...took the air off my car, but it made a big difference when I was using it. Hell know anybody that needs one then tell them to look me up cause Im selling it.

caps suck and dont do anything at all. If your lights dime do a better alternator and good batteries. I hear stinger batteries are great too
