would a 1/16" wall 3/4" square tube be good to frame in my bed floor and sides? the bed is only 6" deep or so and isn't going to be hauling anything except the airtank and compressors. Also, would 16 or 14 ga. be best for the floor and sides? Thanks

reason I was wondering is that I could get 3/4" for $1.35/foot, and anything else would be about the same price anyways.

I used 1.5x1.5 for my main supports over the mounts and one inch for the rest. and 16 gauge for the sheet. three quarter should be fine. I can stand in my bed with no flex and I weight like 240.

I used 3/4 on my last nissan project bed floor i started and never finished, and it worked fine holding the bed up. So i would see no problem with using it

I used 3/4" with .095 wall. I've had 4 people sitting on the bed at one point.
