Seems like there would be some big clearance issues to tuck the wheels, especially since the rear has a solid axle.

It pretty cool but it kinda small, what about a Chrysler Aspen its never been touched yet.

yeah, i think the best bet would be swaping out the rear for independent. you would probally need some pretty wicked camber for it to work and look good.

That's the first Nitro I've seen that hasn't made me cringe. Very nice rendering.

Small, they aren't that small... but the front would need some serious camber to lay out and miss those huge ass wheel well extensions... might look kinda cool though.

"Wheel well extensions"?! haha What are you, Canadian?!

Here in america, we call those "fender flares"

Anyway yeah the nitro is one of the many new vehicles i hated when they first came out and now i'm startin to dig em

But yeah, the fender well extensions would definitely make for some major "narrow track width" issues...

I ususally consider fender flares something that you bolt onto your beat to shit lifted 83 fullsize and that you bought from autozone... whatever the case.... lol

im pretty sure the straight axel wouldnt be an issue... you'd probably have tho narrow the rearend.. it'd probably be best to go with an underslung frame too too help minimize the impact on the floor in the rear so you could keep the rear seat in the stock location

Yeah, my wife brought that up the other day. Now that she's used to getting in and out of my Ram, she hates how "tall" the Aspen is. She is adamant on keeping the 4 wheel drive though, I just don't know how low it can go before the front shafts are over-extended.

We're thinking 'bout it.
