Best welder????

whats the best welder for bout 500 bucks ? to weld notches and stuff ? lincoln, miller, what model or amperage?

you can get a good hobart welding for around 500 and miller makes hobart so it is the same thing as getting a miller. plus, i've used them and they weld good.

yeah i just bought a Hobart140 from tractor supply it was right at 500$ the gun that camre with it was a miller gun so those must both be pretty damn good cause i used an ironman 210 before which was kinda too much of a welder for what ill be doing....so the hobart is a great investment it runs on 115v and welds up to 1/4 so it says on the box. im excited....woo hoo
