i have a 91 s10 with air ride tech arms. i get a rediculous amount of positive camber, is that normal, im mean the tires wont even tuck inside the fenders. do they usually require a whole bunch of shims. im estimating abount an inch or more of shims,
yes if its aligned properly, there will be alot of shims......
...That is my biggest concern with lowered arms. If you lower your vehicle enough to have camber, then you lengthen the arms to eliminate camber at that height, then you end up with positive camber when you lift it back up. I know that you said that you can't tuck because there isn't enough negative camber, but I think that you can see my point...
have them pull some shims out so you can tuck when you air out.. you wont be right on aligned, but as long as the toe is good you wont chew up tires, the toe is what kills tires.
