Need a cheap project...

Im looking for a cheap mini for something to do so ill leave my new car alone. Something I can learn on and not worry about screwing up. So if your anywhere near Houston and got a mini project that you don't want anymore email or pm me. Im looking to spend in the neighborhood of 1-2 grand. I found a bad ass little hardbody but it sold before i could pick it up. Anyway hit me up with what you got.
