damn dude, you went through hell getting that thing home! if it was me with my temper id probably would have punched 10 holes in the dash then ripped the steering wheel off and threw it at some random person hoping it would break their nose! glad you big ugly ass got home safe though!

Dang that blows. At least your's was able to drive somewhat home. After i bought my sonoma my dad was driving it home and I was driving our van home. We had gotten like 80 miles aways from the guys house and bang dropped 5th gear and locked up the tranny on the highway. Luckily we were in the left lane and got it to skid off to the side of the road. So we went to the next exit and were lucky to find a tow truck and had it towed back to the gas station cause we were still about 100-150 miles away from home. So i called the guy to ask him if he ever had a problem with the transmission and he said no but i have a spare if you want it Long story short i slept in the truck that night, the next morning we met the guy and picked up the spare tranny he had and then went and got a uhaul tow dolly.

your lucky you have a friend that will drive more than an hour to come get you! let alone 17!!! thats what its about though. it wasnt bad luck, it was time for you to have an adventure lol
