Eh... I dunno I looks good and all, but It just looks like someone tried to copy the original and change the paint. I think the 1st build was slick as hell, as is this one, but it just lacks that wow factor for me. Maybe I need to see it in person b/c pics do not do it justice in my eyes.
Congrats on bringing back the dead however. If it was me I would have started over on another blazer as I am sure it would have been cheaper to build if you were paying someone.
I was at the show and the truck was clean but not as clean as it was the first go around.. There was some things that just didn't make it seem like it was the wresked truck.. They would have had to start over.. The truck was totalled and they would have spend more time and money fixing things then just buy'n another one.. But I give mad props to who ever took the time out to do it.. And if it is the same truck, then I'm going to need to you contact me so you can do the body work and paint on my truck.. LOL
somebody defiently has a lot of work in it both times even more so the second time. from the looks of the wrecked pics someone had a lot of sheetmetal and structure repair to do. stretched sheetmetal isnt easy to work with. It is still a good lookin ride. what would have been the fun in rebuilding it to look exactly like it did. MAD MAD props to the body man and everybody else it took to rebuild it.
I heard a lot of people bashing the truck at the show, but I think it looks ok. Listening to how some people talked about it you would think all they did was slap in a new stereo, some wheels, and then painted it with a rattle can. Hats off to all the guys that brought back a dead truck!
Personally, I'm digging the new paint scheme. I agree that the front would look better with painted plastics, but maybe that's in the plans and just didn't get done for this show.
One area that I would critique (not hate!) is the stereo. The original had a beautiful installation with all of the fiberglass work, and this looks more like a box made out of mdf and wrapped in vinyl- something UA would do! The way it overlaps the quarter windows on the rear doors (and the spray paint on those windows) just looks kind of slapped together.
It probably wouldn't look out of place if it weren't on the minitruck of the year, but the bar has been set so it's got some bigger shoes to fill now!
Clyde and Co. definitely deserve props on resurrecting Blazerado from the dead, and I look forward to seeing how they finish it off!

WILLIAM @ SILVER STAR CUSTOMS!You are a bad man!Awesome job brother!Clyde do your thing bro! New owner to be- forget the hate!Drive that bitch!
opinions are like assholes everybody's got one
I'm trying to understand all the "copying" posts. Clyde and SSC built the truck the first time around, how can someone "copy" their own work.
