rack and pinion ?

well i bought a rack for a MII to put on my ranger but with the control arms we built we're having a serious toe problem becuz the rack is to long from piviot point to piviot point and i was wandering if there were any smaller racks that anyone had ever used. My rack measures 26 inches and i need one that is about 20 inches any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated

thats alil more than i was looking to spend i was kinda hoping someone would have any idea of an import vehicle or somethin that would have what i was looking for and maybe i could get one at a junkyard

Geo Metros have R and P steering. I'm sure they're small enough...

98 style jettas do. most VWs the past 15 years or so. probably have to crawl around under stuff at the junkyards.
