when i air up the rear it tends to bark or chirp or whatever you wanna call it and its getting annoying. im wonding if anyone knows what might be causing it and if it could possibly be the plumging off of the expansion tank. thats where is sounds like its coming from but im just curious as to what others think might be the cause. thanks!

alot of pressure and 1/2" valves= barking shit just 1/2" valves will bark on there own even with like 160psi but if it sounds like a dying elephant than thats your tank shrinking cause your running to much pressure

Yeah, Trev, vales will bark when the break in. Lord knows the blaze always barks. What happens is the dump valve uses back preasure to stay shut and when you fill them form nothing a little of that preasure escapes before it seals properly. Nothing to worry about.

most times it's caused from the dump valves closing as the backpressure is added

to stop it you can just run a short length of air line from your dump valves

you could put flow controls on the dump valves also

take a 1/2" plug & drill a 1/8" hole in it.... put it in ur dump valve... it will slow it down when u drop it but it ill also quiet it down alot when u air it up
