dual bolt pattern wheels, mini to fullsize?

I have some KMC Maven 20's that have the dual bolt pattern. I'm very close to buying a 78 suburban, so i have a couple of questions about this. What is the fullsize bolt pattern? Has it been the same for a while (same from 72 or so on, in other words)? When wheels come with dual bolt patterns, are they usually for the mini and fullsize make (ford, chevy, etc), or do they switch them up? For example, will my wheels usually fit an s10 and chevy fullsize, or s10 and F150 or ranger or something.
