question about fuel cell placement

how much room is needed (minimum) from the top of the cell to bottom of the bedfloor? i orginally planned on it to be really close to the bottom but forgot about the filler neck etc. also how do those pop up motorcycle type fillers attach. any pics of them? id like to use one of those to keep things looking cleaner
