not sure on what to get?

im lookin into buyin a fullsize. im not sure if i want a 90s chevy/gmc crew cab dually or an entended cab shortbox. im gonna use it as my tow rig so i was lookin at a dually but my dad says that they suck for slick roads and we get that a lot around here. so if any one wants to gimme their .02 it would be greatly appreciated. oh and if you know of any for sale around idaho let me know. thanks in advance.
