drag blocks look cleaner, than having some chrome balls hanging below your frame.

Just my 2cents

I went out to the junk yard and got 44 tow balls for $10. I drug the hell out of them and got the dragging out of my system. Dragging is fun if you haven't done it much. After going thru 20 tow balls, I don't drag as much anymore.

Dragging is insane, it doesn't matter what you drag.

eh blocks, but not some gaudy shit hanging everywhere.

if your truck doesn't lay, don't make up for it with a tow ball, if anything, plate your frame.

I have blocks. My question though is am I the only guy welding them to the bottom of my frame. I keep seeing guys with them on these bolt on brackets which look like they could break off at any time.

People bolt em on so they can still take em off to lay out, as once yours are welded on, they are on.

I've always just liked guys that weld some 1/4" or 3/8" plate on the rails under the cab. At least its not gonna hold you off the ground 3" and look like crap, and it will last a long time because the weight of the truck is spread out over more surface area.

MIne are only 1/2 " thick so most people 't don't even know I have them. I don't drag much so they last forever. Plus they give me a little clearance since my gas tank was still close to dragging even after I raised it.

It's really interesting to watch a sport evolve from one thing to the next so fast

When i got into it, it was all about gettin together with homeboys, workin on the truck in your garage, then go work on theirs...all while tryin to make sure it runs so you can get to work in the morning...You build em to sit on the ground and you drive em pubes off the ground-not quite DRAGGIN, but scrapin everywhere. Not caring what anyone else thought of your truck

Anymore, you give a shop money to build you a truck that you only drive on sunny days and win awards with...and you paid 4g's to gey your your frame painted and pinstipped so heaven forbid you would ever scrape, much less drag.

I'm not hatin, just an observaton

What kind of truck do you drive brotha?

And is it bodydropped?

I definitely say blocks between the two options; just plating your frame so you don't drag thru it works just as well...and doesn't look funny like blocks when all the sparks are coming from one spot

Just my two

I've actually made pnuematic actuated drag blocks for my truck, above frame until you want to drag, flip of a switch they drop 2" below the frame. It works so slick I should pattent the damn things!!
