sorry, words on the internet can be decieving, im quite a direct person so sometimes i may come across as down right rude, negative, and so on ssm, as CLASSIC. here is my statement rephrased with as much internet emotion as i can put into it.
"hey! its great to see, what looks like a nice plaque company in the minitruckin circle, the myspace is a good starting point but i recommend an actual website in the future, this is important because high end clients who purchase in large amounts per order will be more inclined to purchase from you guys if you present yourself as a large company without limitation. myspace is a good networking tool and as far as business goes, i dont know how much biz you will generate from it, in my experience, its mostly just communication with friends, and useless members just being added to your friends list for numbering purposes, eventually some of these people you dont know will become profiles that no longer exist, they may also hack into your account and post spam bulletins, this could make your business look bad at some point. im interested in seeing your companies work, it would be cool if you could post some samples so we can see the quality of stuff you guys do. good luck as a company and i hope your image as professionals starts to stand out after you get done with the myspace thing. cheers.
The only reason we are using My Space is for the instant exposure and to show everyone what we are all about....if you go to it, you can see the boards, toilet seats, bolwing pins and switchplates for now. Yes, My Space has its goods and bads but as we all know, it is a very useful tool...just like SSM. We did not link to our MySpace for "friends" we did it for exposure and contacts and it is working beaufifully. The website is there, it is just not fully operational yet so for now, MySpace and SSM are our tools to springboard from. We agree that if you are starting a company based solely on MySpace, you would have to be out of your mind. We actually do the majority of our business at shows, we are gone at a car show literally 40-45 weeks out of the year so if we can reach the 20% or so of people we cant get to at a car show, we catch them online. When our website is ready to go, I will post that...it would make no sense to say..."HEY GO TO
www.getstroked.com." target="_blank" rel="nofollow">
www.getstroked.com. which is our website when we dont have everything uploaded yet...right?
