Hey guys, just wanted to inform some of you of some stuff about this shop. I recently had some work done by OverKill Fabrications out of Boonville, NC.
Originally i was told 2 weeks for completion.
But it wasnt untill 4 months later that I actually got my truck back. Understandable and everything when they have to wait on other shops to get them parts right?

Ok, So everything looked good and dandy, But i just keep finding things wrong with it. The rear tubs and sheetmetal has not even been welded in. I had to rerun all the airlines and relocate the valves because they mounted them on the outside of the notch and wheels rubbed the fuck outta them.
Was suppose to lay out on 18s but i cant even drag the truck with 18s. front tubs look pretty much halfassed.
I was super stoked to get my truck back and was freaking crazy patient with these guys and I am just completely dissappointed now because Im goin to have to get somebody else to redo alot of the stuff they SHOULD have done in the first place. Ive tried to get in touch with Doug up that way because he was a pretty cool dude and seemed to be a standup fella but Its bad when a shop wont stand behind thier work when they told me they would before It was even taken to them.
So just keep a heads up for this shop, I hate to do this on here but I lost my patient trying to get in touch with Doug....

...Thanks for reading guys/girls. be safe

not to be a dick. so dont take this the wrong way but with these types of topics ive noticed its always best to post pics of what was wrong/unsafe/half assed/ etc etc cause other wise your gonna have a bunch of people who are his boys just saying your talking shit blah blah. i give everybody the benefit of the doubt and im gonna go with the fact your telling the truth for now unless other comes up. so if you can post pics it helps to back your word and make a stronger case..

hate to hear that man, i have never seen any of there work but i do know who are talking about. good luck getting it fixed. i am interested to see pics also though. it is really easy to get those toyota's to lay of 18's also so you should have no problem fixing that.

you know what sucks is I rembered when you posted that it had been finished and you were all excited, and that dude who owns this shop was all like "ya it turned out pretty good". You could have been nothing but good things for these guys. It is important to warn others of bad buisness. It will only make the good guys look better. I work for a custom shop..we take care of our customers. sorry this happend

ok ok ok, as we all know theres two sides to every story, watts is a good guy by all means, the reason the tubs wernt fully welded in is because i was told it was his daily driver and iwanted allow room for the metal to flex and whatnot, could there have been a couple more tacks, sure, should i have thrown some fiberglass over em, perhaps so, but the truck is in no way a 'hack' the reason it wont lay is because the guy we got the over all height of the tires gave us the wrong measurment among other things... as far as trying to get in touch with me, i havent recieved a call or anything like that, the only communications iv been able to have with michael is via email, and my email hasnt been that reliable as you may know, i have gotten a couple emails from him saying hes having trouble with his truck, and i told him i would trailer his truck back to my shop to get everything fixxed asap, raise the rear tubs... redo the front tubs.. lay it out on the current weels hes got...BUT im working in limited space and in order to acomidate him id need to get these customers trucks rollin out, as far as the 4 month rediculous (even in mybook) wait time was indeed for some parts for his truck, and i felt bad for watts so i threw in the mirrors... fuel cell....smooth bed floor... shaved gas door... the gallon or so of ppg dp90 primer...all for free, as well as waved the other half of the payment... all in hopes to make the customer happy and deal with all these subpar companies i was dealing with at the time, and i still extend my help to watts today if he wants us to repair everything... im just a phone call away..(thats the best way to get in touch with me)
