maybe he can say 90 more times "i'll get everything out as quick as possible." and we can wait another 2 years to see "Ohio Valley Custom Works (World WyDe!)" or somethin and he can still be singing the same song....
"just wait..."
for the 3 years, they better be worth it.
Aim industries deserves a second chance as well. I noticed there in all the hotrod mags sellin there stuff now as well.
Damn thats cold. comparing AIM to him.
i dont know michael but i know guys that have been and are stil like he was (that have f'd me for $1000's).. I give him props for coming back and announcing his future, nows he's just gotta "Git R Done"
Mike if i could offer a suggestion to help with the monkeys on your back, try to keep joe public informed on here, there are a lot of watchful eyes!
good luck man!
well, I just wanted people to know I would finally be back to settle things.
I could have waited until I started building parts again but I would rather start now.
it will be a while before I get parts rolling out again but I wanted to get a head start on a list of people I owe.
I work a regular low paying job right now but I love fabricating and the other cool things I do.
this means that when I know who has the oldest order, Ill start sending that person money. it wont be the full amount right away, but rather what I can afford each week. probably at least 50 a week or more depending on what I have going on.
In the meanh time Ill be doing other things to get ready for building parts. Ill be making jigs and designing new parts.
this time Ill do all this is a garage at my house and not have all the overhead. Ill also not be doing any bag jobs or bodywork until I have enough money for a shop that I can afford and have room for trucks.
Ill start with parts and concentrate on making them the best they can be. then Ill move into doing other things.
remember, lots of very smart people have went bankrupt, some more than once before they learned to get it right.
some of you people who dont know me or never met me have been very hard on me in this and other forums.
But, its the loyal friends I have that have convinced me to come back to the sport I love. its simple as that.
thanks
ok i was a customer i did recieve my arms and i havent had problems..i do need a part number for the ball joints though my dust boots have torn...1st gen s10 arms...but i have also been a victem of someone taking money and not delivering and it is the most frustrating thing that can ever happen to you and people get extremely angry and say anything they can to make them feel better..now saying that people do deserve a 2nd chance and like other have said what you do with it will show your true charecter..i truly hope you fix the wrongs..because like you said your main job is low paying lots of people who paid you prob saved for awhile to get those arms
I know a lot of people have a bad taste from their experience with Mike but from the looks of this he is trying to do the right thing after gettin in way over his head. He didnt have to resurface and offer to pay people their parts or money back, as long as he is not trying to take in more orders again until everyone is refunded or has the parts ............
I wish Korey Fields from Georgia would resurface and pay me for my car he stole.
John the S-10 arms I made used the balljoints from Orielly auto parts. they are the same as stock ones. you can get any stock S-10 balljoints from any parts store and they will fit.
I reccomend the Orielly ones because they are made by Moog and have more travel than stock or any aftermarket ones I have found.
the uppers are #K5208 and the lowers are #K6145
