i didnt know for sure where to put this so i figured it post it here. sorry if its the wrong place. im wanting to shave my gas door but i dont want the cap an everything open inside the bed, so i was going to just put the door on the inside of the bed... but the only thing i have a question about is how would i go about bending the fuel filler hose? i know i can buy new hose, but is there any hose thats bendable to where it wont kink? i need to bend it back the opposite way.thanks

Could you have a piece of tubing bent to the shape you want and just use some small pieces of rubber at either end as couplers? I've seen it done like this on a few street rods and it looked like it worked well.

I actually did this on 2nd gen S10. The metal tube on that has a natural bend in it, so I turned it upside down, cut it in half and welded a 90 degree piece of exhaust that I bought from Napa. I cut out about 2 inches around the gass door on the bed, welded in a filler piece I cut out of a junk door I got from a junkyard, and moved it to the inside of the bed, so I had the gas door and all the original bolt holes, etc. where they neede to be. I made a metal bed kit, so if you are going to make it fit in the stock bed, you will have to cut some length off of the metal filler. But it works great.

or..you can use the flexibal chrome radiator hose, called the manufaturer, they said it wouldnt leak, and will not get all trashed due to the gas...plus you can bend the hell out of it...and it still works...not to meniton..use the rubber ends and then just get some black, gas safe RTV at any autoparts store to use to help seal...i used a pop up gas bung from a motorcycle...there cheap on ebay and a boat store...plus they look alot better than a fuel door...
