motor that would sit the lowest in an s10

my LT1 sits stupid low, almost looks like I need more engine in there

3.8 out of a v6 camaro i seen one in a pebble pushers s-10 a long time ago

I was thinking of the camaro 3.8 because it seems to sit really low, but i wasnt sure if it would make much of a difference. The truck is doored with 1.5" cut out of the door.
