the check valve in the leader hose of one of my 380's has gone bad, and air is leaking back out of the filter. do i need to replace the whole leader hose, or can i just put another check valve in line with it? will two check valves slow the amount of air the compressors puts out? lastly, can i pick a check valve up at Lowes or a local hardware store, or do i have to order it? thanks in advance.
one check valve is sufficient.
i dont believe lowes or the depot sells them, check and see if theres a parker store near your town, they will have them. if not order one.
to order, you can order the whole Viair leader line from just about anywhere that sells airride parts(sd.com,avs,gravity-werx). or, you can purchase just the check from the same companies.
thanks for the response. i found out that Lowe's doesn't have them and i don't have a parker store around here. sd.com has check valves for 18.99, but a replacement leader hose with a built in check valve is 12.99, for some reason. so i guess i'll just replace the hose.
