im needing some pix of the fire wall of a 1st gen s10, i need to know where to cut it to do a body drop, please help

lol dude that alll depends on your particular s10. i mean each one is gonn abe different deending on what rim/tire combo u go with, how u set up the front end, what kind of motor your running. its a case by case cut. just start jacking up the wheels and start cutting

well its not mine, its a buddy of mine, ive just never done a 1 gen s10 before and i think i know where to cut but just want to be for sure

for trad b/d, ive always seen cuttin across the firewall where it meets the floor pan, and then however many inches of the b/d up he firewall. this will make the filler panels pretty easy. they will basically be extensions of the floor pan to the firewall.

my buddy cut higher up on the firewall when he b/d'd a nissan and where the two piece met back up after the cab was dropped was kinda off. made it a lil harder to make the filler panels. was a first time learning experience.

yeaqh i know all about how to do a body drop, the problem we are having is where on the 1st gen s10 where the front floor pan and fire wall meet is that where we need to cut or is it above it, on toys and nissans its cake to me but i just dont want to mess up ya know

Its the same as on an import truck. Cut it where the floor meets the firewall.
