ive been thinking about making a tube intake for my yota, and moving the battery to the driver side and the intake to the passenger side. that way it doesnt run on the radiator. and so i can get a shorter run. also, how would the MAF react to doing that? i have a k&n element and a decent exhaust now, wondering if it would throw stuff off...

I am pretty sure you would be good to do that. Good idea. Let me know how it works.

You will be fine, just make sure that the mass air sensor doesnt move around a lot when you drive down the road or it WILL mess up, i have had it happen before on my yota. Also, if your gonna use an open element filter make sure you make something to stop water from gettin on the filter or it will get sucked in the mass air sensor and mess shit up....ask me how i know!
