So for it being my first time, i think my floor is going to turn out great. But since im a beginer i thought i would ask the pros and see what your input is. Any advice or if u see anything wrong let me know please. Its gonna be a raised smooth floor. Thanks
2x2 is pretty big, but so far so good. do some cross braces aswell, so far so good, post more pictures when you get further.
is there a proble with the tubing being 2x2? Will it weigh down the bed or something like that? thanks.

way over kill for upport... 1x1 with more crassbracing would work awesome.... if you keep that stuff ( which is very unnecesay weight)still do some crossvracing for sure...my two cents
is there enough room between the bedsides and the tubing for your wheels to fit in there? It might just be the angle of the pics. And yeah, you would have been fine with 1"x1" with cross bracing.
ok, so def. gotta do some crossbracing. Now, what would work out best, weld the floor completely or do some tacks all around and then use some seam sealer.
I might be wrong but you probably can punch holes over the support beams and plug weld them. Then for the edges weld some beads down it so it does not move.
Looks good and yes 2x2 is hella stout, good work so far.
yeah theres enough space for the wheels. I measured like 6 times before welding anything in.
i would actually use 3m panel adhesive to get the floor down if i were you.. i used it on my brothers truck and it works sooooooo good. no warping and is hellllllla strong.
god damn
i hope that 2x2 is no thicker than 1/8" or you'll have a tough time welding sheetmetal to it without burning through. Your welder must be set to penetrate the thicker metal so if it's thicker than 1/8" it will probably have too much heat to weld to sheetmetal easily.
plus, that damn thing will weigh 500 lbs. when you get done if it's thick stuff
