so here is a kit i found, since it seems like SPAL is a popular choice:
Brand New SPAL 7 Channel Shaved Door Handle Kit With Two Poppers, 40LB, 2 REMOTES 2 door
Each kit contains one receiver/brain, two remote transmitters, antenna, instructions with diagrams, wire harness and all necessary installation hardware. Kits contain two 35-pound solenoids (40 pound rated), and 2 Door Poppers
SPAL seven-channel shaved door kit allows the owner to control up to seven different functions all by one of the two remote controls included in the kit.
and a 1-year warranty. all for $83 shipped!
i have a spal kit also that i bought at a car show in Fl, but if i was going to do it again, i would get that AVS kit...i hear its not as noisey...
I have all protocol poppers on my doors. There f-in huge and sound like a hammer popping the doors. Been using them daily for about 18 months with no problems. There hooked up to my alarm. Front doors work off the remote and the rear doors have switches by the steering wheel. A buddy of mine had problems with these being powerful enough to pop his S10 doors. So I don't know about them.
Diablo, i'm in love with that chick in your sig. That's my kinda ass right there. LOL
anyone else have commments on the SPAL kit above?
U guys know if any of these kits have enough controls to operate 3 solenoids?.I already have one on the rear door of my astro and am using a manual button for now.So what i need is a kit with 2 solenoids but the remote has to be able to control 3
