s10 ART control arm ?

I have the s10 ART control arms (duh). I'm wondering, if any of you have these, do i need to silicone the lower ball joint boots in or does the pressure from the spindle seal it? I'm just curious, i called ART and they said to just sit it on the lower ball joint, but it seems to me like the grease would leak out of it that way. Anyone know?

c'mon, i know some of you guys have these, please someone let me know, i'm going to do the install tomorrow night.

ummmmm.....no silicone. i had the art arms on my 84 s10 with no silicone, and they where fine.

ok, preciate the info. i was just curious because on the boot it has the little tab and an arrow that says "Mount Inboard". And AVTekk, i shot you a thread a few months back saying congrats on getting the feature in minitruckin (i think), i just wish they had more pics. I think you got screwed with a 2 page spread, caust that thing is much better than the cookie cutter s10's they feature all the time.

I have the BYC arms, and they are the same too, the boot just sits on there.
