Gas tank pressure building up i need some help please

Today my toyota was leaking by the charcoal canister fuel.
I did untight my gascap and it did stop I never had this problem before I need some help asap.
I am thinking that the gas cap might not be ventilated and did create pressure is there somebody who can help me .
my truck is with a carb and a mecanic fuel pump

kind of sounds like the return line is clogged but not sure

start with a new gas cap. iv'e seen a bad cap smoke 3 tanks before. (all same car, the weakest point bowed out then it rubbed till ther was a hole.)
