Hypothetical situation..

What is your policy on running stickers? Say if a shop/person bagged your truck, would you proudly rock a sticker? Would you be offended if they charged you for a sticker? Or would you expect it to be free? And vice verse, would you be offended as the person doing the work, if the customer wanted to charge you to run a sticker?

I think it would be dumb for a shop to charge for what cost them less then $1 to make especialy after you just spent a few grand on your truck in their shop.

well i do all my own shit, but if I paid someone to do it, I would rock their logo for a period of time, but I wouldn't pay for it. Which I would expect it to be free as some sort of free advertisement for them..

id rock the sticker. im obviously trusting them to do the work id be proud to rock their sticker.... now would i pay for it i dont think so since its advertising for them. if i was asking for extras though yea i can see charging

Usually I try to mention that before I do any work, like.... this is the price, and I would ask that you tell your friends your honest opinion about the work you received and also run one of my stickers for a while. I would never charge them for one, but if the person is cool with the shop that did their work, I would imagine that they would advertise for them and it should be no big deal.

Okay forget that part of the question. Lol. I agree stickers should be free from a shop doing the work. I generally hand out 2 stickers for free to anyone I do work for, or build parts for. (Sorry to the last couple guys with motor mounts, I was out).

Try to focus on the latter part of the question. Its something I had not ever thought of asking of someone.

I don't ask anyone to run my stickers. I generally ask "Do you want a TwistedMinis sticker?" Or just give them some. I won't put them on a truck because I don't feel its my place to. They might want them for the computer or beer fridge for all I know.

oh if i asked someone to pay to rep a id expect to be hit, thats obsurd especially with the quality of work you put out seth.

I wouldn't ask a respectful shop to pay me to run their stiker. maybe a cut on the price, but most likely, they are going to tell you to go somewhere else if you tell them it's gonna cost them for you to run a logo.

which, I know nothing on my current daily or my tow pig came from him, but I still have two of mike at www.gravity-werx.com's stickers on each one. one on each ex cab window.. just for advertisement for him. because I buy all my stuff from him, even though it's not very often.
