Story of my life I swear. Fed up with my truck, just not working out. I want something with a stock suspension that is able to be bagged. Mazda, s10, whatever it may be.
I have a fully rebuilt, 306 (302 bored .030) and it has bigger valves and all that crap. I have about 1800 into it, after new fuel pump and all that garbage. Anyways.....do people buy rebuilt motors for anywhere near what I payed? It was built by a shop, with a years warrantty.....still have like 7 months on it. I just want to change directions and don't know if I am stuck with a motor I don't really "need" but COULD use....
It would really fund a different build if the truck was running, even if shitty.

I had like 2 grand into my small block, that came with a dyno sheet that proved 380 horse. I sold it for $1200 with a 700R4 out of a running vehicle. You'll never get what you have into it. Cut it in half and start there, thats about what you can expect.

since you wont get a lot for it.. just store it, use it for a project you get the patience for it. no reason to throw it to someone else when later on you could get an itch andhave it laying around.

well, if i keep it, i dont have money for something else. right now anyways. and if the truck stays in the garage, it will get worked on......leaving me broke once again haha. if i store it, im storing the 9 inch rear as well and just sell the truck cheap i guess. who knows. i will figure it out.

you can do it, i believe its the same as any other EFI 5 litre.... That being said, understand I know jack about motors. It's NOT a roller motor, but I guess that really doesn't matter? I can ask the guys on the truck forum and see. Id guess its the intake/computer/harness, but let me make sure.
