When running Nitrogen, do you absolutely have to run a regulator? For some reason I have this crazy ass idea to use a extra valve i have and my preasure switch.... put the valve between the bottle and tank and let the switch open it up till it hits 180 and then close. The tricky part would be trying to figure out how much to open the bottle up to the valve with out blowing the leader hose... What do you guys think???

unless you have a valve that can handle 2000 psi, then no

I would just run a regulator. Theres a lot of PSI inside those tanks...

Why cant you just open the bottle a couple turns to restrict it from full flow??? To risky???

Doing that only restricts flow not preasure. Even though its comming out of the bottle slow there will be the same amount of psi in that line from the bottle to the valve as there is in the bottle.

sounds like a great idea! better yet, take the valve off the tank and put an electric valve on it, just be sure to put your hand over the top quickly when taking the manual valve off so your nitrogen doesnt leak all out!
