Well in that case I'll line X it for sure. I had heard from several people saying it would peel the body filler but the pictures above are proof enough for me.

ya id have to say IF anything at all the filler would pull away from the metal before the line-x would pull off the filler. as long as its sanded and cleaned off theres no way itd let go. it sticks to just about anything, as long as its prepd right

Well what I've heard is that the line X is sprayed so hot that it heats up the body filler too much and causes it to peel.

its does go on HOT. i berlieve around 150 F. but like i said before we havent had a single problem with it...

I want to sheetmetal my bed to be almost flush with the top of the bed rails and go from the front of the bed to the end of the fender wells. and then spray line it heres a pic of my bed a long time ago with the old paint

I used the Herculiner in my old Nissan, and it held up fairly decent. But it wasnt as tough as the manufacturer stated, it did chip a little bit over time with loading stuff in and out, but if you arent putting crap in your bed for any hauling, then it would work alright. Make sure you do your prep work, I had one spot that didnt hold up for crap, cuz I got tired of sanding the bed out, and the bad spot was where I ended the sanding. Aside from that, I was pretty happy with it.
