Has anyone ever towed a truck with a tow dollie? I'm moving up to Wyoming in a few weeks from Louisiana, and really want to bring my project truck up there with me. I dont have money to buy a trailer, so I was thinking of towing my truck on a dolly behind my moving truck. I'm kind of skeptical about using one, but it's either that or leave my truck here in LA. And I'd like to have it up there so I can continue to work on it. Post up any suggestions.
Just make sure there are not even minor leaks...maybe put some sort of bump stop in it incase something does happen. Assuming its bagged anyways. If not... I dont see a problem with it.
you can rent trailers from uhaul. someplaces that sell trailers also rent out daily but you would have to bring it back to where you got it.
yes, the truck is 'bagged. All of the u-haul trailers I see around car barely fit a car on them. I have a reg. cab. long bed silverado. I checked it on their webside, and they said they did not have a trailer big enough for my truck.
renting a truck, rent a trailer. that is a long damn way to pull a dollie. plus you can not back up with a dollie in tow.
