park lights coming on w/brake lights

have any of you guys ever had your park lights come on when you press the brakes.i've had the truck a while and maybe i never noticed it but, i sure noticed today. i've checked any/all wires near anything that might rub, and no bare wires or loose or any thing. where else could i look for the problem. thanks guys for any help

Check your bulbs. Could be a dual element bulb with one element burnt out and the wire grounding out on the other element.

that happened on my hauler when i first hooked up the trailor brake system...ended up i just had a few wires wired wrong...but thats all i've seen it happen to for me

make sure you have the wright bulb's in it.

what kind of truck is it,does it have factory wiring???

IT'S A 96 X-CAB HARDBODY.YES IT HAS ALL FACTORY WIRING AND IT JUST STARTED AS FAR AS I CAN TELL.I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANY OF THE BULBS AND I WILL CHECK ANY AND ALL BULBS TONIGHT AFTER WORK. ALSO I NOTICED THIS MORNING THAT MY DASH LIGHTS ARE DOING IT ALSO. THABKS FOR ANY HELP.

My nissan did the exact same thing. And it was a burned out bulb.
