My wife and I don't pray much and do the church thing but will pray for her and our hearts go out to her and you. I am so so so sorry!! Hope god blesses her and she has a full recovery. Keep up an update of how she is doing. Later!

hi SSMers, got some good news. chrystal got to come home after spending some rough days in the hospital. shes doing very well, her road rash is healing very quickly shes gotta keep some stuff called vacicreame on all the newly growing skin and has to stay out of the sun as much as possible. shes in a neck brace for a few months until her skull fractures are healed. doctors say it will take her about a year to fully recover. her shoulder is getting better, we do some physical therapy exercises everyday so she doesnt just keep her arm in a sling forever and end up with a shoulder that wont move. shes doing very well and almost back to her old self.

i really cant express enough how much all of your support means to us. i really dont know what i would have done if everything went from bad to worse and the outcome of all this ended differently. i know i woulda put A LOTTTTTT of bullet holes in the truck. ya know it really felt like a bad dream i couldnt wake up from for a couple days until reality set in and bit me in the A$$! anything slightly different about how my truck was sittin, either higher or lower and she woulda either got cought under the door or under the truck.

sorry im babbling on and on.
i really just want to say thank you to everyone. i'll try to post on here at least everyother day. if there are people still interested in her recovery as she gets better.

i read this a few days ago & it has to be one of the worst stories i've heard in a LONG time. keep your head up & it'll work out in the end man. best of luck to you both.

also, i hope i don't sound like an a**hole, but i think you should use this as a sort of public service announcement to promote the use of safety latches &/or seat belts, because no one should EVER have to go through what you two are going through.

i hope what i just said is understood the way i meant it, because there was NO bashing at all intended in it, i swear.

hey corey! hey yea i hear ya! some fool proof safety latches would be great. i would highly recommend anyone with suicide doors invest in some or make some or somethin cuz i do NOT want this to happen to anyone else.
so please everyone who has been following my life for the past week please concider it a reminder as to why they are called SUICIDE doors and please be safe.

Its great to hear that she got out of the hospital and that she is healing so quickly...seems like fate along with the prayers are working well...we'll keep praying and hopefully she will be 100% way before a year...Good Luck to the both of you....

Man thats awesome that she is having such a great recovery. That is so relieving to hear that she is almost back to herself. Keep postin about how she is doing. Make sure and keep ya head up and be positive. Later!
