I am to the point know and I need to finish some of the details with the Blaze. I have priced a few places out and of course chrome is most expensive then theres powdercoating. They also say that polishing everything can be brighter that chrome and easy to fix if something happens. I want a candy color for the powder coating. Whats going to give me the bigest bang for the buck?

chrome. nothing matches it, no powdercoat or paint or polish can look truly like it.
I did all my suspension in chrome, and my frame parts in candy powdercoat.
powdercoat is great, espically the candy stuff. it looks good, and is relitively cheep, depending on ware you live.

It all depends on what parts you are talking about. Some parts should not be done some ways because of wear or heat or other things. My engine is pretty done up in my mustang. I chromed alot of things but certain things like the intake had to be polished in order to let it dissipate heat better. Plus chrome turns blue or yellow with extreme heat.

i love the look of chrome but i dont like the durability. i've seen some chrome on stuff that gets driven a lot and it chips off and starts rusting.

If you guys are having problems with discoloration on chrome from heat, try this stuff called blue job. It takes the blueing and what not off of headers. Works great.
