I was kinda thinking the same. Only thing I can think of is maybe he's not a fab shop, just a parts supplier. Or else some metal suppliers only sell full lengths which isnt worth bringing in to make a set of notches if you don't have a use for the rest. That would make sense. I'm just curious. If you really need one I'm sure Doug @ streetissuecustoms could build ya one. He uses them in every truck he bags, and is getting pretty quick at fabbing them together.

They are definetley the way to go on C channel frames. 8 piece works nice on boxed frames like toyotas though.

I posted this up before.

To figure out the cuts angles for your saw:Take the inside angle of your notch (in this case 110). Minus that angle from 180. (so in this case you get 70) Divide that number by 2. So in this case set the blade on your chop saw at 35 degrees.

I could build 1, but im not charging him very much to bag his truck, so therefore i want to get all the bag brackets, link tabs, notch, etc.... So i can knock it out quicker. I build all my stuff, but im not on a time limit or getting paid. I know it dosnt take but a couple hrs to build one, but by the time i get my angles & cut it out i could already be putting it in.
