FILLER OVER BARE METAL IS FINE AS LONG AS YOU DONT USE TO MUCH HARDENER...TO MUCH WILL CAUSE THE FILLER TO GET TO HOT AND CAUSE CONDENSATION ON THE METAL...WITH SOMETHING ONLY AN 1/8 OF AN INCH I WOULD EPOXY PRIME IT AND BLOCK IT OUT..THEN SEE WHERE YOU STAND...BUT IM WICKED ANAL WHEN IT COME TO THAT SHIT JUST MY OPINION...
