Wide Wheels and IRS????
Hey, I was wondering how many trucks are running IRS and IFS with some wide ass wheels such as a 10" wide wheel. I wanna go 24x10 all the way around on my colorado, with a 6" lip all the way around as well. I just dont know if its gonna be good for the steering in the front, and how much the wheels are gonna pull off the ground when laid the fuck out. If anyone has any pics of this kind of setup, it would be cool to see em. thanks
cory
I don't believe there is any way you will get a wheel with a 6 in. lip to tuck under the front of a Colorado, atleast not with enough control arm left for the truck to have any suspension travel.
sorry, to clear this up it will be a full tube chassis with custom control arms, shockwaves, and the rear is using a heidts IRS narrowed as well. I am just worried about the turning,
I think you should do a normal front rim and deep dish on the back. When you have the same deep dish all around it looks kinda wierd.
Just my thoughts.
Ya i know it dont look the greatest, but that srt10 ram that was in truckin a few months ago was badass with a dish all the way around.
i think it looks sik with a big lip all the way around!!!the rimz on my truck have a large lip on them and when its layed out it looks killer!!!
I have been trying to get a pic of that srt10 ram, the white with blue stripes on, that is layed out on 26's, with a big ass lip all the way around. any direction where i can find a pic
I SAY GO FOR IT. IT WOULD LOOK GOOD WITH THE DEEP DISH ON ALL CORNERS
NOT THE RAM BUT CHEVY WITH DEEP DISH ON ALL 4'S
you mean like these pics?
