ok well the only thing that can be cut is the windshield so i could deal with that, but how about the big rear hatch, maybe lean it forward, rework the doors use the stock glass, wat does eveyone think

you can usually use stock door glass..roll your window down a few inches and if its done right it would be no diffrent chopped..so roll the window down and thats where your pillers need to be now.

I recomend you get Tex Smith's book How to Chop Tops. I have seen where people have cut into thier cowl area and lowered their front windshield but that only works with a few inch chop. for the doors you can use yor factory glass once the chop is done you fill in the pillars. for the rear hatch you may want to concider a rear window from a doner, such as a split window from a older VW. if you decide to cut the front glass. cut the glass first and chop the top to fit the glass. i also recomend you cut freash glass because it won't be brital.

some other advice...call or drive by a glass company...talk to some local places about chopping the glass or getting custom stuff made to get an idea of costs, whether or not there is a place that can do it locally, and see how confident they are in cutting it down
