i have a 93 hatch back civic the rear is all the way down but i need get the front down at least another inch but the upper control arm is hitting the fender well any suggestions

NOTCH IT SO THE CONTROL ARM CAN GO THOUGH LOTS OF PEOPLE WITH HONDAS DO THAT

yea it will hit but not bad jus grind the spot off the control arm where it hits and it should be fine

Notch upper mount for control arm; shorten the spindles; tub for wheels and that's about it I think. More to it than that but you get the idea I hope.

thanks sorry its my first time building a civic when i cut the fenderwells to tuk the wheels would i need to reenforce the strut tower or what

you can notch the strut tower for the uca and not have to shorten the spindle to 'lay out'. i havent seen any cars keep the use of a strut tower and go all the way with wheel tubs and truely lay flat. usually when they do that, they put a conventional bag on top of the a-arm, shorten the spindle, remove the strut towers, put some tube from the firewall to the front section of the frame to stiffen the unibody back up and then raise the engine to truely lay flat on the pan

I would. It's better to be safe then sorry. Just get some trailer fenders or whatever and weld them in.
