we just rebagged an 02 ram standard cab. when you air it up the pressures read the same for left and right . but the left side is down about a 1/2 ". i checked the bag mounts and they are the same.is this a common problem. i know all trucks arent made exactly level whene they are built. just wondering if anybody else has run into this.

Maybe it is b/c of the weight from the gas tank and/or driver I don't know for sure but it sounds like that could be the reason.

it has an ekmw 2 link in the rear and raised upper arms in front, slam bags all around,8 valves. there is no sway bar and ive told the customer many time he needs one. instead he wants me to make a spacer under the left side front bag to even it out.

Gauges can be deceiving, because most vehicles aren't exactly balanced from left to right. The spacer could lead to other troubles when laying out or locking up completely, so I'd just note the pressures required to make the truck sit level and roll like that.

yeah i believe it's common to have one side lower than the other. like the others said, it be due to the gas tank or the fact that one side could be heavier.

id either add the sway bar back on or add side to side to fix it

can you run a stock sway bar on a bagged ram? its on 265/35/22. the guy who orinally bagged it said the sway bar woulnt go back on and he tossed it out.if its not a prob to run it i would order up an addco sway bar.

Most dodges have this problem, crysler doesn't exactly center their engines, they are shifted slightly over to the driver side causing that side to be a little heavier. Its stupid, but its what they do.
