2.5l ranger fuel system questions

i have a few questions i need sorted out before i can make my fuel cell so any help is greatly appriciated.

1) With the returnless system does the fuel pump run all the time or does it turn off and on?

2) If it turns off and on can i just use the stock wiring to a aftermarket pump so that the aftermarket pump will turn off and on too?

3) Can i use a 2.3L fuel rail on my 2.5L so that i can just convert to a return fuel system... will the rail bolt to my head?

4) What is the stock output of a 2.5L fuel pump?

5) Is there an aftermarket rail i can buy to put on my 2.5L so that it is a return system?

using a 2.3 rail does sound like a feasabile idea, but you would need all the fuel lines to.

are they interchangable... if i remember correctly they are. because you can put a 2.3T head on a 2.5L block.

yup but the 2.5 is a dual plug motor as is the 89 up 2.3 heads. there virtually the same motor.
