drive shaft

i just bridged and 4linked my 93 pup and ran into 2 issues. 1. the crossmember under the cab keeps me from layin frame, i know how to fix that.( drag it off put a new one higher up ) 2. my drive shaft rubs and hits when i lay it out my question is can i knotch it or should i just tunnel the whole thing seein im gonna eventualy do a traditional body drop at the end of the season?

yea but it will be more fun draggin that thing off.lol
