2600i hood. Is the bubble Functional?

Is the Bubble there to clear the fuel injection, or is just for looks? Would there be any problems taking a b2k series hood and puting on a 2600i?

it does give extra clearance but not necessary...pretty much just for looks.

However you can make it functional by adding a scoop to the front of it like Matt Baker did w/ his old mazda.

i might try to trade a guy with a 2600i and just wanted to make sure that every thing would work.

I think it looks better. If I was you I would trade because I think it looks nicer.

My fuel injection still sticks out w/ the bubble... Guess i should lower the motor... lol
