i have a 1974 gmc can i buy parts that say they are for 1974 chevys or do i have to find the gmc part???

well, 73-80 is the same, 82-87 trucks (82-91 burbans, blazers and duallys are the same).. everything but some sheetmetal and other misc parts are the same, some will work as long as you use certain other parts to make it all work.
