project I just picked up future plans are z the frame and shorten the bed about 10 inches for a more proportioned looked

the gray line is where I want the bed to end up

What I started with originally I just wanted the 350 for my 50 Chevy but I couldn't bring myself around to destroy her

I'll be watching. Can't wait to see the bed shortened 10". I have thought about that myself, I think the short bed is proportionately too short. (if that makes sense)

Ill be watchin this thread sounds like a cool build.

well it's not going as fast as I wanted but I did the bed today

I still need to do the driveshaft and I'll probably backhalf the frame since the rails took some abuse when it was a flat bed
