Chassis Tech DC5000

i wanna kno some stuff about this compressor. will i be able to run it on my stock alt with a yellow top? anyone runnin a dc5000? im gonna buy one tommrrow for 15 bucks and guy said it needs a rebuild kit so that 45.00 and i think its a good deal cuz i can have a 260$ comp for 60. lemme kno what you think.
